| It is very easy (here in Britain) to take items such
as books, clothes and stationery for granted. In Ghana
items such as these (whether second hand or new)
are treated as items of luxury. Before throwing items
you no longer need away, consider donating them to
a school in Ghana where one basic reading book could
help several illiterate children learn to read or
where an old t-shirt might be the first gift a child
has received in his
life.
